ALGAMIN is a natural preparation consisting of a mix of gently dried freshwater algae of genus Chlorella and spray-dried brewer's yeasts without addition of chemical additives. It contains easily digestible proteins, wide range of vitamins, provitamins (beta-carotene), nonsaturated fatty acids, mineral substances, and highly effective biologically bound trace elements apart from specific “Chlorella Growth Factor” (CGF) and anti-anemic factor. The preparation has its importance mainly from perspective of protective increase of vitamin levels and immunity of human organism against diseases and stress because of content of mentioned substances. It is an important supplement to nutrition of sick, convalescents, children, and healthy people. We recommend using it also by increased physical and psychical load and sport activities. It is a unique source of vitality and life quality.

Chlorella – “green treasure”

  • Algae are simple ancient organisms usually able of photosynthesis. They use natural colorant chlorophyll and other colorants for it. Algae live in nature mainly in seas, rivers, and lakes. They can be found also in soil, on walls, on plants on rocks, etc.
  • The green algae living in our fresh waters are comparable to the Asian ones in perspective of their nutritional value. For example alga Chlorella is a valuable source of proteins and other substances that are inexpendable for our organism. Food supplements made from this alga are sought-after mainly in Japan and USA, but they were given the green light also in our country. Chlorella is unicellular freshwater alga able of easy and rapid multiplication and thus it can be cultivated. It contains 50-times more chlorophyll than alfalfa sprouts, further up to 60 percent of easily digestible proteins (therefore twice more than the traditional source of proteins – Soya), polysaccharide, fats, and 19 amino acids including all essential. From vitamins we can find in it vitamins C, E, and beta-carotene, group-B vitamins, from mineral mainly zinc and iron, further fibre, phospholipids, and Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF).
  • Chlorophyll has outstanding curative effects. It is recommended for treatment of anemia; it supports the growth of tissues, and helps with cholesterol secretion. It has detoxification characteristics. It finds its use in case of chronic constipation and flatulence.
  • Chlorella supports the creation of interferon that has noticeable stimulating effect on immunity. This freshwater alga acts preventively against viral diseases and malignant neoplasms. It beneficially influences high blood pressure and tiredness; it helps to stabilize the level of blood sugar. It is a suitable prevention against digestive tract diseases, it regenerates the skin, improves sleep, and one's ability to concentrate. Alga Chlorella is cultivated also in our country by office of Microbiological department of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Opatovický mlýn in Třeboň. ALGAMIN, a convenient food supplement is made from it.

Vitamins, minerals, trace elements, proteins, and series of other substances contained in yeasts must be viewed as a biological complex representing counterbalance to series of multivitamin preparations despite its relatively low content of active elements. These elements several fold increase their helpfulness to human organism by their mutual natural impact. Preparations with brewer's yeast content give you the best of contemporary offer of food supplements.

The natural components of dried brewer's yeasts are mainly:

  • Biologically valuable nitrogenous substances
(proteins, cerevisin, zymocasein, nucleoproteins, glutathione, essential amino acids).
  • Carbohydrates
    (especially glycogen, ribose, deoxyribose)
  • Lipids
(unsaturated fatty acids, especially linolic and linoleic acid called vitamin F).
  • Phosphatides and sterols
(lecithin, cephalin, ergosterol, and sterols similar to sex hormones).
  • Mineral substances
    (Ca, P, K, Mg, Na)
  • Trace elements
(Fe, J, Cu, Zn, Mn etc.)
  • Vitamins
    (Thiamin – B1, riboflavin – B2, pyridoxine – B6, niacin – B3, folic acid, pantothenic acid – B5, p-amino benzoic acid, pangamic acid – B15, calciferol – D, choline, cobalamin – B12).
  • Enzymes from the group of hydrolyse as well as desmolases.
  • Other biologically active substances
(biotin - H, inositol, antianemic factor, glycokinins, cytochrome, and melanin pigments, etc. )
