Vitamin - 50 years tradition

Dear customers,
the research and later production of PANGAMIN – a preparation which was named after pangamic acid (vitamin B15) – was started 50 years ago in Braník brewery.

Pangamin produced from dried brewer's yeast according to Czechoslovak patent rightfully won popularity of public.

This unequalled product containing a complex of group-B vitamins including vitamin B12, mineral substances, trace elements, enzymes, amino acids, and proteins helped in treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, neuralgic pains, herpes zoster, hair loss, defects in mucous membrane of oral cavity, increased level of cholesterol, dysimmunity and nervous system disorder, hepatitis, influenza; it was indispensable also in period of convalescence. Pangamin found its insubstitutable place also among sportsmen.

Pangamin has lived up to its standing in undiminished measure till these days. Even in time when the offer of food supplements in drugstores is plentiful beyond compare in contrary to what it was 50 years ago, Pangamin is as 100% natural product still popular and sought after also by a new generation of customers.

No wonder about it, after all, there is increase in number of products based on brewer's yeast stemming from tradition of Pangamin. Let us mention those which are most favoured: Pangamin Bifi Plus with evening primrose oil, bifidobacterium and lactobacillus, Glukavin with oyster mushroom and echinacea, Pangamin Dragée meant mainly for children, and others.

Our offer logically expanded to include products with ascorbic acid: C-vitamin with strawberry and orange flavor, C vitamin MIX... However, this is already a different story, though it surely belongs to our offer, but these lines are meant for you, our customers, as reminder of one preparation which might have been accompanying some of you during life since childhood. I can remember my first experience with Pangamin by treatment of acne; it helped me then the same way as it helps my son today.

Important landmarks in history of Pangamin

1957
• Prague brewery Braník started production of a product made from brewer's yeast on basis of Czechoslovak patent – Pangamin.

1989
• A collective of people within Braník brewery focusing their professional interests exclusively on production of Pangamin is lead by Radek Sajvera. They pursue not only the development of new products and technologies, but are also building up the Pangamin brand itself.

2004

• Radek Sajvera establishes company RAPETO, a.s. in April of this year taking over all development, production, and commercial activities of former division Pangamin operating till that time in framework of Braník brewery in Prague.

2005
• Products based on brewer's yeast are supplied to customers from Prague, the company had been intensively looking for new premises and found them in Tachov region.

2006

• Company RAPETO, a.s. starts production of food supplements based on brewer's yeast, popular vitamins C, and other products in newly build and reconstructed premises in Čeliv near Bezdružice in January of this year. The company moves its headquarters there, too.

2007

• Development of new products planned for introduction into market by the end of the year takes place and at the same time the technological equipment is being modernized. New tabletting press is installed in order to increase the production capacity and for improvement of production continuity.

Today, Pangamin is produced in accordance with the most strict European standards in beautiful landscape near Konstantinovy Lázně spa in modern facility co-funded by funds of the European Union.
